Creating a new user in Joomla is a simple task, and can be done with basic knowledge of the platform. Joomla is an open source content management system (CMS), and its popularity among website administrators and developers is due to its flexibility, performance, and ease of use. Here’s how to create a new user in Joomla, whether you are managing an individual website or a multi-site network.
Step 1 – Log in to the administrator area of your Joomla website. To do this, just click on the “Administrator” link at the top right corner of the page.
Step 2 – Navigate to the “Users” section in the administrator menu.
Step 3 – On the top left corner of the page, you should see a button that reads “New”. Click on this button to create a new user.
Step 4 – On the page that opens, you will have to enter some basic information about the user, such as the name, e-mail address, username and password. Make sure to select a secure password!
