How do I change the default Joomla email settings?
Many times you might need to change your Joomla email settings to properly configure communication with your server, configure mass mailing campaigns or just improve the way your emails are arriving in the client’s email accounts. Changing the Joomla email settings usually requires an intimate knowledge of the mail server, the operating system you’re running and of course, the Joomla CMS.
Verifying the Core Joomla Global Configuration Email Settings
The first step in changing the original Joomla email settings is to locate and open the Joomla Global Configuration. Make sure you are logging as an administrator and look for the right menu.
